Lauren WadeMajor: Special Education
Person I connect with: Peter. I feel like Peter because he struggles with his emotions in situations, and he spends a lot of time sitting with his emotions after a situation. He also asks questions when others are sometimes afraid to. My favorite part about Peter is that once he has made up his mind about something, he really really tries to stick to it. Most would call that stubbornness (as a bad thing), but Peter uses his stubbornness for good when it comes to how he feels about God and when he is telling others about the Lord. Favorite color is: pale yellow or orange Favorite spot to study: university hall in the atrium or student lounge Favorite place to grab a coffee or meal: Java Haute or J.Gumbos Most influential Christian Book: I have not really read a lot of Christian books for myself, but the book of the Bible that really kickstarted my individual relationship with God was the book of John. I would make marginal notes and comments and reread sections over and over, highlighting them. |
