In light of the Covid-19 pandemic CSF will be implementing the policies below to honor our
universities’ policies as well as an act of loving our neighbor while we do ministry this year.
Thanks so much for your understanding and if there are any questions please direct them to the
Lead Campus Minister, Adam Caldwell.
Building Usage During the Week
Besides staff, only eight students may use the building at the same time outside of regular
meetings. Proper social distancing and mask usage is required if interacting.
Large Group Times
Masks will be required during our gatherings and seating will be arranged to facilitate social
distancing.
Wednesday Night Connection Groups will be replaced with large group reflection and/or
discussion. A new Care Team will further foster community through the week, through prayer,
discussion and encouragement.
The Sanctuary is limited to 25 persons at a time.
The Student Lounge will be available for overflow during gatherings with the service streamed
onto the TV for extra distancing. The Student Lounge is limited to 10 persons.
CSF will open 20 minutes before a Wednesday Large Group/ Sunday Service and close down
20 minutes after the gathering is over.
CSF is working on hosting a satellite gathering on campus to create more space for students to
gather on Wednesdays!
Any special large group events use these same guidelines.
Entry For Large Group Times
Masks are required for entry into the building. CSF will provide one cloth mask per student if
desired.
To help with the flow of foot traffic, entry to “The Big Room” will be through the double doors in
the entryway, and exit will be through the kitchen and into the hall. Please be aware of blocking
the flow of traffic and maintaining social distancing while moving about the building.
Handwashing is available in both restrooms and the kitchen, with sanitizer stations available
around the building as well.
Please stay home if you are feeling ill, or think that you may have been exposed to Covid-19.
CSF will be live streaming all services to help people stay involved, even if they can’t be at a
gathering.
Worship Leaders/Speakers
During worship and speaking times, those leading may de-mask on stage to lead or speak, but
are required to wear a mask otherwise and will be staying distanced.
Cleaning
Shared spaces will be cleaned thoroughly with disinfectant after Wednesday Night/ Sunday
Morning gatherings. Bathrooms will be cleaned multiple times a week, as well as often touched
surfaces like door handles.
Special Meetings
Meetings for our leadership team will be held via social distancing, or via Zoom calls.
Special meetings (i.e. Mission Trips, MinistryTeams) will be held via Zoom calls.
Small Groups
Small groups will meet at the group's comfort level. If in person, masks and social distancing are
required. We will intentionally be splitting these groups smaller (meaning more groups are
available) to create more opportunity to meet in person.
Virtual Opportunities
All Wednesday Night Large Groups and Sunday Morning Gatherings will be live streamed via
the CSF YouTube channel for those that are not comfortable meeting together, are ill, or just
can’t make the service.
Fall Retreat
Fall Retreat is currently still tentatively planned. Social Distancing and mask usage will be
continued at Fall Retreat. Outdoor opportunities and chances for individual reflection will most
likely be used to give space and air.
Discipleship
Discipleship is the heartbeat of what we do at CSF. These meetings will be held mostly outside
of our building, outside if possible, and always socially distant. Zoom calls will continue to play a
role in discipleship as well.
A note from Adam….
This policy is difficult to write because of the word distance that is used so much. Distance feels
like the opposite of connection, which is what we want so deeply for you all here at CSF.
Connection to Jesus and connection to each other.
We have an opportunity to be a testimony on our campus. We will continue to gather safely and
responsibly, and my prayer is that our connection and love for each other, and the Lord, grows
deep and strong this year. Within the constraints, there are opportunities that are presenting
themselves to grow and engage campus with the Gospel!
We love you all. Seek the Lord. Serve others. Engage the campus.
